Fundraising: Day at the Races

Variety’s Day at the Races was started in 1998 as a way for members and prospective members to enjoy an afternoon with friends and colleagues. Each year more than 250 people meet turf–side at the picturesque Santa Anita Park for this exciting event. This year Day at the Races took place on Thursday afternoon, April 3, 2008, at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. Over 300 people got together for an afternoon filled with laughs, conversation, good will, and cheers. It is Variety’s way of putting the Fun into Fundraising.

 

Up for auction are SIX autographed T-Shirts and one autographed plush toy from Disney’s new film Beverly Hills Chihuahua! Auction ends Monday, October 13th. Auction to benefit a variety of Southern California chidren’s charities. Be their hero.
