Since 1941, Variety has raised over $60 million for children in local communities and remains dedicated to raising funds for the purpose of inspiring hope, enriching lives and building a better future for the children of Southern California.

Within the last two years, a specialty fundraising group called Young Variety was formed for professionals (21 and over) who are looking to network with people in various fields of entertainment and business. They continue to have fun events including mixers, sports games, toy drives, and outings. The focus of these activities is to have fun, meet new people, and most importantly, contribute something meaningful to children in need.

Most recently, Junior Variety has been added to the Southern California chapter. The Jr. Variety board is made up of high school aged teenagers from different schools who are making a positive impact by hosting fundraising events and participating in volunteering opportunities that families can support and enjoy together.
