HOSB Luncheon

Every year, Variety SoCal invites friends, family, and colleagues within the entertainment industry to celebrate a chosen honoree with a luncheon and E-Journal. In 2024, we were excited to honor Wanda Gierhart Fearing, EVP and Global Chief Marketing & Content Officer for Cinemark, and all of her achievements while enjoying a lunch at the Skirball Cultural Center and raising money to help Variety SoCal Kids.

During the event, we also present a check to a charity of our honoree’s choosing. In 2024, we happily presented a $15,000 check to Casa de Amparo in Wanda’s honor.

HSOB E-Journal

The 2024 Variety Heart of Show Business Benefit Luncheon will feature a Tribute E-Journal for our Honoree, Wanda Gierhart Fearing. The e-journal will be featured on-screen in the ballroom of the Skirball Cultural Center and projected repeatedly throughout the Celebration. The e-journal will also appear on the Variety SoCal website for one year with a special edition printed and bound as a keepsake for the honoree.
