About the Event

54th Annual Golf Classic

For more than five decades, Variety the Children’s Charity of Southern California’s Annual Golf Classic has brought together entertainment industry leaders, corporate partners, philanthropists, and community supporters for a memorable day of golf and giving at the beautiful Moorpark Country Club. Set against the backdrop of one of Southern California’s premier championship courses, the tournament combines friendly competition with a shared commitment to improving the lives of children with disabilities, illnesses, and special needs throughout the region.

The Annual Golf Classic is one of Variety SoCal’s signature fundraising events, helping generate critical support for programs focused on healthcare, education, and mobility. Since its inception, the tournament has raised nearly $5 million, providing life-changing resources such as adaptive equipment, mobility devices, and educational assistance for local children and their families. Every foursome, sponsorship, raffle, and donation contributes directly to Variety’s mission of creating brighter futures for children across Southern California.

Beyond the competition on the course, the event celebrates the power of community and philanthropy. Guests enjoy networking opportunities, contests, awards, and special recognitions while supporting a cause that has made a lasting impact since Variety SoCal was founded in 1941. The Annual Golf Classic continues to be a cherished tradition, demonstrating how a day on the links can transform into meaningful support for children who need it most and inspire hope for generations to come.
